THE HKBPA AWARD SCHEME

We are proud to have an award and honour system that brings people together to celebrate and 

acknowledge excellence in research, practice, teaching, and education of business psychology. Our 

nominees for these awards range from aspiring undergraduates to accomplished professionals, who have

already achieved a successful career in the field. Some of these awards are exclusively available to members, 

while others are open to business psychologists worldwide.


Through this prestigious award scheme, HKBPA continues to champion the importance of lifelong learning in achieving professional excellence and innovation in business psychology.

Our awards are divided into tHREE CATEGORIREs:

  • The HKBPA Distinguished Research Award:

An accolade for individuals or groups who have conducted research that significantly advances the understanding of business psychology. This award highlights the importance of empirical study and its practical implications for the business world. Recipients of this distinguished award serve as inspiring role models within our professional community. 

 

  • The HKBPA Outstanding Contribution to Practice Award:

This recognition signifies a commitment to the advancement of business psychology and the cultivation of a dynamic, knowledge-driven professional community. Presented to a practitioner whose innovative application of business psychology principles has made a substantial impact on organisational or societal outcomes. 

 

  • The Distinguished Learning Spirit Award:

The Distinguished Learning Spirit Award embodies HKBPA’s dedication to fostering a culture of excellence through continuous learning in Hong Kong’s business psychology landscape. This prestigious recognition celebrates practitioners who demonstrate exceptional commitment to professional growth.

The award scheme, featuring Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze tiers of recognition, acknowledges business psychology practitioners who go beyond routine professional development to actively pursue excellence in their practice. These individuals consistently demonstrate the transformative power of continuous learning, whether through engaging in advanced training, participating in knowledge exchange  in the field.
