Governance
The Board of Director (BoD) functions as the primary governing entity of the Hong Kong Business Psychology Association, responsible for shaping its strategic vision, developing policy, and charting the organization’s direction. Tasked with the governance and guidance of the Association’s operations, the Council relies on the expertise of dedicated committees to fulfill its missions. Composed of a blend of professionals from within the field of business psychology and distinguished figures from other sectors, the Council benefits from a breadth of perspectives. This diverse assembly enriches the decision-making process, fostering thoughtful deliberation and thorough resolutions on matters that influence the Institute’s trajectory.
To reinforce its governance role, the Council is buttressed by a series of committees predominantly staffed by association members. These groups are vital in effectuating HKBPA’s governance framework, ensuring that the association’s day-to-day management and its various committees are in alignment with the Council’s strategic objectives and policy prescriptions.

Under the HKSAR’s Company Ordiance (Chaptere 622), company limited by guarantee (CLG) is a unique type of corporate structure often used by non-profit organizations, charities, clubs, and other entities that do not distribute profits to their members. Instead of having shareholders, a CLG has members who act as guarantors. This structure is particularly suited for organizations that prioritize social, educational, or charitable goals over profit-making.
