From Elite Rank to Expert Rank to Master Rank, the Certified Coach tier progresses to the Certified Senior Coach and culminates in the highest tier, the Certified Principal Consultant qualification. This designation not only acknowledges a practitioner’s extensive knowledge and experience but also positions them as a leader in the field, capable of driving significant change and innovation within organisations. It empowers consultants to navigate complex challenges and deliver evidence-based solutions that enhance organisational performance and employee well-being.

 

Practitioners typically need to meet the following criteria to qualify for any certified qualifications:

ELITE RANK –  CERTIFIED COACHES : 

  • Have completed an HKBPA accredited course or equivalent, and
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in being recognised as a professional and in raising standards of practice.
  • Have experience working with clients, employees, students, trainees, or partners in a role involving coaching, consulting, supervising, advising, or guiding to achieve desired outcomes.

EXPERT RANK –  CERTIFIED SENIOR COACHES:

  • Have completed an HKBPA accredited course or equivalent, and
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in being recognised as a professional and in raising standards of practice.
  • Have at least five years of experience working with clients, employees, students, trainees, or partners in a role involving coaching, consulting, supervising, advising, or guiding to achieve outcomes.
  • Have experience consulting for organisations using related skills or currently manage an organisation using related skills.
MASTER RANK – CERTIFIED PRINCIPAL CONSULTANTS:
  • Candidates must possess a relevant postgraduate degree in business psychology or a related field, demonstrating a solid academic foundation in psychological principles and business practices.
  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience, with a significant portion dedicated to business psychology consulting. This experience should include leading large-scale projects, managing teams, and developing organisational strategies that leverage psychological insights.
  • Candidates must have a proven track record of leadership within their organisations or across projects, showcasing the ability to influence and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Applicants should demonstrate contributions to the field of business psychology, which may include published research, presentations at professional conferences, or active involvement in relevant professional associations.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in all consulting practices, ensuring that the welfare of clients and stakeholders is paramount.
